Talk to HALO

SIMULATED

Talk to HALO is a simulation. No headset, sensor or nurse station is connected. No hardware exists yet. The trace is drawn by the page. It is not a brain wave recording and it is not a measure of accuracy.

Pick one of the 11 proposed commands. YES, HELP, STOP, PAIN, REPOSITION, CANCEL and GO wait for a confirm before the nurse screen counts them. NO, I'M OK, COME HERE and WATER are counted when you select them. STOP and CANCEL here are labels only. They are not a safety-rated stop.

SIMULATED signal. Not a brain recording. No hardware exists yet. No accuracy claim.

Eight simulated traces stand in for the planned eight-channel design target. They are not a recording.

Catalog globe

Problem globe

Turn the globe and choose a program. A sketch drone flies to that pin and shows the problem text already published on the project page. Only the Hillsborough pin uses a published place. The other pins are catalog markers, not incident locations.

This public globe does not replace the lab monitor map. Globe Locate search on that map still works.

Sketch drone

Choose a program

The drone waits at the edge of the globe until you pick a pin.

Bench sketch

Your own bot

Combine a head, a body and a tool from published program ideas. Name the sketch and download a card. This is not a build order and it is not hardware.

Sketch only. Not hardware and not a build order.

Flagship research program

HALO ACCESS

A constrained, non-invasive intent-communication research system for deliberately trained commands. It does not claim unrestricted thought reading, clinical efficacy, certification, or completed hardware.

The first credible goal

Determine whether a wearable eight-channel research prototype can classify a small set of trained commands under controlled conditions and translate them into bounded computer actions.

Evidence required

Physical validation

No performance, safety, clinical, certification, deployment, or customer outcome is claimed without dated test evidence.

Truth rule: AI-generated images show design direction only. Physical prototypes, test data, independent reviews, partner commitments, and awards will be published separately when they exist.

Public path

Monitor, Verify, Solve, Fund, Build

Public projects move through these five stages.

Founder

Maurice “Moe” Morrison

Maurice Morrison is the founder of PMO Robotics, International New World Lab. He is also the artist and owner of Picassomoes, a tattoo and piercing studio in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Picassomoesllc runs both.

He builds his own software. Working with AI tools, he directs the product, design, testing and launch of every platform he makes. That includes PMO Robotics and its mission globe, a world map for finding real problems worth solving, plus halocore.us and the PMO Bot software platform.

HALO is his first hardware build. It started in hospitals, where he saw patients hooked up to monitors while the staff meant to watch them were on their phones. It also started at home, with families who cannot talk with a loved one who is nonverbal. His example is a grandmother he calls Nana.

HALO ACCESS is his answer. It is a headset concept meant to help a person who cannot speak say yes, no, help or stop. Every yes and every safety command needs a confirmation step, so the device never decides for the person.

In the tattoo chair, Moe listens first and then draws for the body. He builds HALO the same way. Listen first. Then build for the person.

The test matters because life matters.

When no one else can hear them, HALO can, and will.

His philosophy:

If it works it's a breakthrough. If it doesn't, start over and try again. We will never quit. There's always something to learn, there's always something to build, and there's always something to create.

HALO ACCESS is a concept in development. It is not a built or approved medical device. It has not been reviewed or cleared by FDA.
