HALO Core

How it works

Trained commands, not thought reading

HALO Core explores one question. Can a wearable, non-invasive EEG system recognize a small set of deliberately trained user commands and turn them into controlled computer actions?

  1. WearThe planned wearable has 8 EEG channels in a dual-node layout. Nothing is implanted.
  2. TrainThe user will train a small, limited command set during consent-aware calibration.
  3. RecognizeSoftware will look for those trained commands in the EEG signal.
  4. ActA recognized command will become a controlled computer action. Human approval will come before any external communication or operational action.

First demonstration

Repeatable selection from a limited command set in a controlled setting.

How success is measured

Accuracy, latency, false activation rate, comfort, setup time and repeatability. All reported with full test conditions.

Who it is for

Research participants first. Only after evidence and review, people who may benefit from alternative input methods.
